It has been a tough couple of days in the iDad household as the Psychic Toddler fails to predict any correct results in the last four games [See Group C and D Predictions]. Before you start labelling him as a fraud you should know that his psychic predictions have been hindered by a bad dose of teething. I have full confidence that the last couple of days were just a blip and from here on in the results will start picking up. Saying that, I would strongly advise you against backing any of his predictions with serious money.
So with Fred the Ferret failing to predict the England result as he surprisingly went for an England win it left him to pick up just one point with a correct prediction that Ukraine would beat Sweden. [Not so] Psychic Toddler 2 : Fred the Ferret 4, by the way it seems that Fred took Sunday off from making any predictions – he is such a diva!
I won’t hold back the truth, the next batch of predictions for Groups A and B was a nightmare to film. It took place after a Toddler Tantrum of epic scale that seemed to last the whole of France v England game. You may also pick up on the desperation in my voice towards the end of the video.

Psychic Experiment: Wash n Go
‘Wash n Go’ should have been the easiest of the four tasks as all it involved was pulling a flag out of the ‘what I thought was an empty’ washing machine. This took forever and I don’t think I exegerated when I list the final take as 48! Anyway we got there in the end and his prediction was CZECH REPUBLIC!

Psychic Experiment: Pick a Peg
‘Pick a Peg’ should’ve involved hitting one of the flags off with a big foam sword but after multiple attempts we settled with a simple hand picked prediction. The psychic toddler seemed to get very strong vibes from the Poland flag as he was really drawn to that one and was very decisive with his choice.

Group B: Denmark v Portugal
Psychic Test: Can I Kick it?!
‘Can I Kick it?!’ was a selection of three balls all with a flag wrapped round the outside. The aim of the task was to kick the ball [flag] that contained the result for the Denmark v Portugal game. Despite me shouting ‘Kick it’ a thousand times it took a while for it to sink in that that was in fact what I wanted him to do. Hooray! After a number of fast sprints back and forth over the balls he finally kicked the DENMARK flag.

Group B: Netherlands v Germany
Psychic Experiment: Nappy Smack
‘Nappy Smack’ involved three nappies laid out on a table each containing a flag. Surprisingly he didn’t want to do this challenge and we nearly didn’t have a prediction for this game. But don’t worry with a little bit of persuasion he finally chose the nappy containing the GERMANY flag.
Toddler Prediction: Winner Germany!
There we have the latest set of predictions which I am sure will be a lot better than the last lot. I don’t why, as I may as well throw the pound down straight down the drain but I have placed my accumulator bet on all four matches at odds of 74/1.
I am rapidly running out of ideas for Toddler friendly challenges so if anyone has an amusing suggestion please share! Or don’t if you are happy to see another 20 seconds of a Toddler choosing a nappy?!
